The AMTA-VT chapter has annual Education events every November. We are proud of providing in-person, hands on workshops and CEU’s to our members and non-members over the years!
We also are happy to be able to provide a full scholarship every year to our November event. Please email email@example.com to get an application or download it from our website – good luck!
In the past we have hosted professional members such as:
Dr. Joseph Muscolino
Dale Montelione Grust
Dr. George Russell
Annie Powell and The World Skin Project
We also reach out to other New England Chapters to coordinate quality education, and would like to create small, free classes for our own chapter.
Please take a look at our 2018
Educational Event page! If you are interested in getting more involved, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
Saturday, November 17th, 2018. Hanover, NH.
Explore human anatomy in this two-part (four hours $150.00 each) cadaver anatomy overview. We have 2-4 embalmed cadavers that have been prosected (dissected ahead of time) to reveal the musculo-skeletal system, fascial layers and visceral attachments. In addition, we will be able to examine the major nerves and vasculature. The format of this class will be lecture and lots of hands on. The class is limited to a small number of participants to allow for maximum participation. No dissection will be performed. You will be able to touch and move tissue to examine all dissected structures. Out of respect to the donors no pictures will be allowed in this lab.
This class is divided into two sections of lower and upper extremities. Sign up for morning (lower extremities) or afternoon (upper extremities) class. If you are taking both classes, lunch is on your own.
This course is designed in parts for all massage therapists eager to learn more about working in a hospital or health care setting. During this course, students will be instructed in appropriate gentle massage techniques, positioning, safety precautions, clinical assessments and much more health care related topics. The importance of integrative massage and pain-management treatment will be discussed. The course will be divided into two sections: theoretical and hands-on application.
Deadline for ad and article submissions for the Winter newsletter.
